A few pics from a house we designed... still under construction

Entrance Hall looking down... great light fixture!

Here is the fireplace... the stone is actually manufactured stone, surface applied!  Very nice!

Master Bedroom with terrific views of the surrounding woods on all sides!

We don't have any photos of the outside yet, just too muddy to walk around in the woods to take pictures, but as soon as spring hits, we'll post them!

Kitchen addition...first photos

Here are some pics of a wonderful kitchen addition that we designed right in our own neighborhood... wonderful to be able to walk to see the progress.

The addition is a new kitchen, laundry room, mudroom, side entry and porch.

 Great new windows!

The french door to the left replaces an existing door. The new kitchen addition is on the right side of the photo... much bigger than the original kitchen!

Original kitchen before new addition (the photo is the taken from the same place and direction as the photo above... wow, what a difference!)

A ventless washer / dryer combination... what could be better?

Here is a great product!  This is a combination washer & dryer.. all in one machine.  Also it's ventless!  which saves lots of cost and hassle installing the dryer duct!

Master Bath Update

Here is a master bath that was just finished.  Take a look at the before and after pics!  Nice update!

After picture looking towards outside wall.

We added a French door and a small outside balcony to the Master Bath… unusual, but the views from the Master Bath are just spectacular and also unique in that there are no other rooms on the second floor that have windows facing the yard.  The French doors are only 4’ wide, but they provide a very gracious presence and bring a wonderful quality of light into the Master Bath

Craftsman Porch

This wonderful exterior renovation started with the owners' vision to transform their home with a craftsman porch.   In order to achieve this traditional feeling, (along with needed repairs and window replacements), the siding, windows and trim were redesigned.

We introduced continuous bandboard trim, windows with a "prairie" style divided light pattern and a stone base around the new porch and existing house.

The porch is the most dramatic with tapered craftsman columns, stone piers and oversize roof brackets.

After - Renovated front with porch addition
Mulitple siding types were used, dark at the first floor and lighter above
